Most frequent questions and answers
Depending on the type of training you would like, our training ranges from 8 hours to 16 weeks.
→ 16 Week Training (Office Automation, Front Office Medical Assistant, Building Maintenance Technician, Computer Repair Technician, Customer Service Technician.)
→ 4 Week Training (Microsoft Word – Beginner, Microsoft Word Advanced, Microsoft Excel-Beginner, Microsoft Excel-Advanced,)
→ 8 Hours Training (Forklift Training and Certification.)
We offer Open entry enrollment, there is no waiting period to begin training. You can start any Monday of the month.
Effective January 1, 2022 students without a high school diploma or the equivalent to enroll in private postsecondary institutions (such as CDI) without having complete the admissions prerequisite of passing an alternate entrance examination.
In short, this means you can now enroll without having a diploma, GED, or having to pass an ATB exam.
→ Must be 18 or older to apply.

Small class environment. There are usually 4-8 students per class with a max capacity of 10 students. Additional instructors are used when we reach more than 5 students.
Yes, all of our instructors are bilingual and can train in Spanish or English.
CDI participates with the following agencies: Local WIOA, JTO, Employment Connections, Proteus, Department of Rehabilitation, VA Education Benefits, and Workman’s Comp.
To see if you may qualify for free training with one of the agencies – we encourage you to fill out the application here. Once submitted, we will reach out to you within a 24 hrs.
We have two options available:
→ Balance work, home, and school with flexibility in your class schedule.
→ Learn online. Learning online allows you to complete a training without having to drive to a campus every day. This is great for anyone wanting to make education a priority but can not attend in-class.
